New York City, NY – Long Island television broadcaster Jennifer McLogan of WCBS2 and WLNY-TV55 will be the celebrity host of the annual Marcum Workplace Challenge at Jones Beach again this year. The 2018 run-walk for charity – also the Island’s largest corporate picnic – will be held July 31.
More than 12,000 Long Islanders, representing teams from over 200 companies, nonprofit organizations, and government agencies, participate each year, raising funds for four Long Island charities. Since 2006, the Marcum Workplace Challenge has raised in excess of $800,000 for the Children’s Medical Fund of New York, Long Island Cares, Inc. – The Harry Chapin Food Bank, the Long Island Children’s Museum, and the Nassau County Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
This is the 13th year that Marcum has presented the event, which is produced in collaboration with the Greater Long Island Running Club. Marcum is Long Island’s largest accounting and advisory firm.
