New York City, NY – Marcum LLP and the Marcum Foundation presented $100,000 to beneficiaries of the 2017 Marcum Workplace Challenge yesterday, at a ceremony held on Giving Tuesday. The annual charity run-walk at Jones Beach has raised a cumulative total of $800,000 for Long Island nonprofit organizations. Beneficiaries include the Long Island Children’s Museum, Long Island Cares: the Harry Chapin Food Bank, the Nassau County SPCA, and the Children’s Medical Fund of New York. A grant was also made to the New York State Parks Department, which hosts the event.
